 Room occupation and charges. Only registered and named guests may sleep in rooms. The Guest agrees to pay in soms the dollar room rate shown on your registration form for each day or part of each day of a stay for you and your party. The dollar room rate quoted includes where applicable local taxes which will be shown separately on your hotel receipt. No charge is made for an additional child in a room (plus two adults) less than 5 years of age unless an additional bed is requested.
Changing number of nights. Where a number of nights have been requested by you, you may increase the length of your stay on request, providing of course, that vacant rooms are available at the time of request. Where, having paid, you decide to leave early, refunds are made at our complete discretion in accordance with our refunds policy, which may vary (for example, between peak season - when we may have turned someone else away - and off-season).
Checkin and Checkout times. Unless otherwise agreed, check-in time is 14:00 – rooms are available from this time onwards. “Early check-in” may be possible in some circumstances – but to ensure that the room is available on arrival (for example – on an early morning flight) it may be necessary to reserve the previous night as well. Checkout is 12 noon on any day. Late checkouts are permitted by arrangement, at an additional charge, depending upon availability of the room.
Time of payment. If you intend to pay by cash, payment is due for the reserved number of nights at check-in. If you intend to pay by credit card a voucher is taken which gives irrevocable authority to the Silk Road Lodge to complete the form at the time of your departure to include all amounts owing.
Additional payments, rights and responsibilities. You must pay for all other services or goods used or purchased at the stated rates, must pay for any damage or breakages which occur due to your fault or that of your party or visitors, and must occupy rooms and common areas peaceably and without disturbance to other guests. The Silk Road Lodge has the right to exclude without compensation disorderly, abusive or drunken guests or those bringing unregistered visitors to sleep in rooms. We offer safe deposit facilities and we recommend that you use these or keep valuables with you at all times and ask you not to give your room key to anyone who may have access to the room in your absence. We do not accept liability for any valuables left unattended in your room or elsewhere in the hotel if not in the safe deposit box.
Deposits – Guaranteed reservations: where the has been secured by a deposit for the first night’s accommodation then the reservation is “guaranteed” and the room will be kept for the guest. If a deposit has not been paid – or guaranteed in some other form – then the hotel reserves the right to offer the room to another guest after 18:00.
Cancellations: Cancellations can be accepted at any time and deposits returned according to the following policy:
